Cortisol Balance and Menopause Aid
The Process
We use the most advanced method currently available. Ultrasound assisted dual extraction provides a full spectrum of beneficial constituents. Our extracts are made from the mushroom fruiting body only.
If you would like to know more about our process, click here!
Our ‘Stacked’ extracts are composed of multiple types of mushrooms to expand the overall benefits in a single dose.
Research has shown that the best way to implement mushroom therapy for cortisol balance and as an aid to mesopause is by splitting the extract into a morning dose and an evening dose. This way, mushrooms that may give you energy will not effect your sleep schedule and mushrooms that hemp you relax will not cause day-time grogginess.
Contents:
The Morning Dose:
🔹 1. Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus)
For Cortisol Balance:
Primary Benefit: Enhances cognitive function and reduces anxiety.
Effect on Cortisol: Indirectly lowers cortisol by reducing anxiety and supporting nervous system regeneration.
How It Works: Stimulates NGF (nerve growth factor) and promotes parasympathetic nervous system dominance.
As a supplemental aid during menopause
Benefits: Neuroprotective, improves memory, reduces anxiety and depression.
Menopause Support: Helps with brain fog, irritability, mood instability, and memory loss.
Why: Stimulates nerve growth factor (NGF) to protect cognitive function during hormonal shifts.
🔹 2. Cordyceps (Cordyceps militaris / sinensis)
For Cortisol Balance:
Primary Benefit: Boosts energy and stamina, supports adrenal glands.
Effect on Cortisol: Helps balance cortisol output—especially helpful for fatigue and burnout from adrenal overuse.
How It Works: Supports mitochondrial function and ATP production while modulating stress response.
As a supplemental aid during menopause
Benefits: Boosts energy, libido, and endurance; supports adrenal and sexual hormone production.
Menopause Support: Fights fatigue, helps libido, improves mood, and balances estrogen/testosterone indirectly.
Why: Supports the endocrine system and may ease symptoms of estrogen decline.
🔹 3. Maitake (Grifola frondosa)
For Cortisol Balance:
Primary Benefit: Blood sugar and immune regulation.
Effect on Cortisol: Helps stabilize cortisol indirectly by balancing blood sugar—a key cortisol regulator.
How It Works: Regulates insulin sensitivity and glucose levels.
As a supplemental aid during menopause
Benefits: Helps with metabolic health and insulin sensitivity.
Menopause Support: May reduce weight gain, stabilize blood sugar, and ease hormonal imbalances.
Why: Blood sugar dysregulation is common during menopause and affects estrogen metabolism.
The Evening Dose
🔹 1. Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum)
For Cortisol Balance:
Primary Benefit: Calms the nervous system, supports adrenal health.
Effect on Cortisol: Helps reduce elevated cortisol levels, especially in response to chronic stress.
How It Works: Acts as an adaptogen and supports sleep, which in turn regulates cortisol rhythm.
As a supplemental aid during menopause
Benefits: Calms anxiety, promotes restful sleep, supports liver detox (important for estrogen metabolism).
Menopause Support: Helps with hot flashes, mood swings, night sweats, and insomnia.
Why: Reishi supports the HPA axis and modulates cortisol, which tends to spike during menopause.
🔹 2. Chaga (Inonotus obliquus)
For Cortisol Balance:
Primary Benefit: Immune modulation and antioxidant support.
Effect on Cortisol: May help buffer cortisol spikes due to its adaptogenic and antioxidant effects.
How It Works: Reduces oxidative stress, which contributes to improved adrenal regulation.
As a supplemental aid during menopause
Benefits: Powerful antioxidant, supports immune function and skin health.
Menopause Support: Reduces inflammation, supports skin elasticity, and helps the adrenals handle stress.
Why: Estrogen decline can lead to oxidative stress; Chaga helps buffer that.
🔹 3. Shiitake (Lentinula edodes)
For Cortisol Balance:
Primary Benefit: Supports liver health and immunity.
Effect on Cortisol: Mild adaptogenic support, helps with recovery from stress.
How It Works: Rich in B-vitamins and ergothioneine, which help with energy and oxidative stress reduction.
As a supplemental aid during menopause
Benefits: Rich in B vitamins and vitamin D precursors, supports heart and bone health.
Menopause Support: Helps with bone density, mood, and fatigue.
Why: B vitamins and vitamin D become even more important post-menopause.

Dosage
The recommended dosage is 1.5 mL per day. It can be added to any beverage.
Use the scale on the dropper to measure the appropriate amount.
When used as directed, this product should last about 40 days.
This is not a beverage and should be used as directed. Our process results in a greater potency than most tinctures on the market. Increasing the daily dosage is not necessary.
For your safety:
This product contains 20-30% FDA approved, food quality alcohol. Mushrooms contain triterpenes that are not water-soluble. A solvent is required to break down the triterpenes which will release a wider variety of beneficial constituents. The alcohol we use is also organic and vegan. Alcohol-based extracts enter the blood stream more efficiently for faster results.
If you are pregnant, nursing or abstain from alcohol based products, we do not recommend this extract for you. Soon, we will be releasing water-based extracts as well. The daily dosage is so small that these extracts are generally considered safe for children but parental approval and guidance is required. If given to children, you should use half the recommended daily dosage.
As with all nutritional supplements, please consult your physician prior to use, especially if you’re currently being medicated for any health conditions. Our supplements may lower blood sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure and may thin the blood. If you’re currently being medicated for any of these conditions you should consult your physician to ensure that they do not lower these conditions too much!
Grown in the USA
We do not purchase our products in bulk from foreign countries as many other suppliers do. Most of our mushrooms are grown locally at our farm in Jacksonville, Florida. There are specific mushrooms such as Chaga that require a live host and cannot be cultivated. In these rare cases, we will source from reputable foragers.
This nutritional supplement only includes mushrooms, referred to as ‘fruiting bodies’. Other companies will use the substrate that the mushrooms are grown from which contain mycelium, the fungal organism. Based on various reputable studies, mushroom mycelium contains a host of benefits but exists within the substrate which results in a high percent of fillers. We prefer to not use fillers in our products.
These statements have not been reviewed by the Food and Drug Administration.
As with all nutritional supplements, please consult your physician prior to use, especially if you are pregnant, nursing or have a medical condition.
